Tatcha Moisture Match-Up

The Goal:
Attract visitors to Tatcha’s booth at SEPHORiA (the retailer’s annual beauty convention) by distorting the brand’s two bestselling moisurizers, The Dewy Skin Cream and The Water Cream.

The Strategy:
We tapped into the tribalism of fandom and gamified our space by challenging visitors to declare whether they were Team Water or Team Dewy by using our gachapon (a Japanese capsule-toy dispensing machine). Our booth took the form of a locker room, complete with fun team mottos balanced with bite-sized product education.
